Your invoice data stays in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded to a server.
What freelancers usually include
- Your business name (or your own name), email and address
- A clear invoice number you can track — for example INV-2026-0007
- The client’s company name and contact person
- Itemized work: project name, deliverable, hours or units, and rate
- Payment terms such as Net 15 or Net 30, and how you want to be paid
Hourly or project-based?
For project work, add one line per deliverable with a fixed rate. For hourly work, use quantity for the hours and rate for your hourly rate — the line amount is calculated automatically. The hourly invoice generator page includes the same calculation with hourly defaults.
Payment terms and reminders
State your terms clearly on the invoice: when payment is due, accepted payment methods and any reference you need from the client. Numbering your invoices sequentially helps you follow up on unpaid ones.
Requirements for invoices — including tax details — vary by country and jurisdiction. Check the rules that apply to your business.
